A MINISTRY ON MISSION

Every number tells a story of lives touched and hope restored through Christ In Action.

How We Serve in Times of Crisis

Christ In Action shows up in the wake of disaster with hands-on help and heart-led ministry. Our work flows through four core areas:

  • Disaster Relief – Clearing debris, cutting fallen trees, and operating heavy equipment so families can begin recovery.

  • Training – Equipping volunteers and chaplains with certified courses to serve effectively when crisis strikes.

  • Chaplaincy – Commissioned chaplains offering prayer, counseling, and crisis care on the ground and in communities.

  • Furnishing Hope – Delivering donated furniture and appliances to restore dignity and daily life once homes are ready.

“We are a ministry first. Disaster relief is how we serve, but the Gospel is why we serve.”

Our Mission in Action

Here’s what it means for us to be a ministry on mission.

Ministry First

We’re a ministry before we’re a relief organization. Every chainsaw cut, every meal, every prayer is for the glory of God.

Always Ready

Crisis doesn’t wait, and neither do we. Our teams are trained, equipped, and prepared to respond with excellence, skill, and compassion.

Helping with Heart

We serve with humble strength, deep care, and excellence as we meet physical needs while bringing comfort and hope in Christ.

STORIES

Charlie, 82 — A Heart Changed After the Storm

A tornado left Charlie’s yard buried under downed trees and his hope worn thin. When our assessor offered help and a prayer, he wanted neither. Still, the team showed up—day after day—clearing massive trees, hauling debris, and treating him with simple, steady kindness. Neighbors watched a hard life soften.

By week’s end, Charlie told our team, “I love you”, words his family said they’d never heard from him. He later passed away, but not before discovering a love he thought wasn’t for him.

Your support helped change more than a yard.

It changed a life.
