Christ In Action Midwest

How the Midwest was Won. 

During a 2019 Christ in Action (CIA) training, several attendees caught the vision for sharing the love of Jesus in our community through disaster response and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). With CIA as their mentor organization, they formed a local Ready Team. 

Because a few said, “Here I am, send me.”, the Chippewa Valley Ready Team ministered to thousands in the name of Jesus. They've built connections with local first responders, Emergency Managers, Churches, and those involved with Foster Care.

The team has supported multiple Wisconsin CIA Faith Based First Responder training courses, and consistently deployed across the nation with CIA.

   

Midwest Base Officially Launches in 2025. 

Some knew it was only a matter of time, but God’s timing is always perfect. In 2025, the Chippewa Valley Ready Team officially transitioned into the Christ in Action Midwest Base of Operations. Our Midwest base is located in Wisconsin's Chippewa Valley, desiring to serve the region and beyond. Joan Miller is the base director, with a strong core team. Unified in Christ, they spur each other on, and hold one another accountable.

The Midwest Base of operations will continue to prioritize our local communities and the Midwest region.

This closer partnership will provide additional resources and support from Christ in Action Headquarters (located in Elkwood, VA). Everyone is excited for this expansion of the team and for what God is doing, as they serve as his hands and feet, ministering to those going through crisis. 

The mission of the Midwest Base is to equip and serve the local community and church, while bringing Hope to America's Families when they need it most.
