Dwight and Susan Boston

Dwight & Susan Boston live in central Virginia on their beef and blueberry farm with their daughter Noah, and son-in-law Ryan. Dwight is retired from a career of Christian counseling and is an ordained minister. Susan’s first career was Pediatric nursing. The Bostons attend Abundant Life Christian Fellowship in Orange where they both teach Sunday School. Dwight leads mission projects; Susan sings on the praise team.

They have served on short-term missions regularly over the past thirty years which includes construction projects and disaster relief, both domestic and international. The Bostons first connected with CIA early in 2022 when Susan joined our admin team as a volunteer. After deploying to Ft. Myers they felt the call to join CIA. They officially joined our team of full-time missionary staff in 2024. Susan serves as our volunteer coordinator, and (when needed) as a nurse. Dwight serves as a Commissioned Chaplain, a Community Liaison, and does special projects. On deployments, Dwight ministers to survivors, assesses their homes before the work crews come in to serve, and does some logistics.
