Hurricane Arthur Assessment Report

Hurricane Arthur

Assessment Report

God is so good! As we watched Hurricane Arthur make its way up the East Coast, we began praying for the people on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Christ In Action monitored the storm with police and emergency services late into the night and early in the morning. Using the information coming from local authorities and pastors on the ground, we were able to complete our assessment within hours of the hurricane passing.

We are so thankful for the good reports! Though minimal flooding occurred, there was no loss of life and very little property damage. Because the damage that occurred is being handled by the local agencies, Christ In Action will not deploy.

We want to thank all of you who prayed for the people impacted by this storm and for our staff here at CIA Headquarters. We want to be good stewards of the resources we have and make the best long term decisions concerning these events.

Please go to our website or Facebook page or follow us on Instagram and Twitter for continued updates as the 2014 hurricane season progresses.
